I'm going to have to investigate this further-if this is the case...? I am one very happy bunny.:D

1.Today's Smoothie
2 Yesterday's Breakfast Smoothie

My attempt at round brushing my own hair, I will post better pics once its wrapped and fallen into place. :)
Overall I'm pretty proud of myself.
Round brushing has always been a battle for me.lol

*Please excuse my weird smile*

I just found this painting I grew up with as a child,I can't believe I just remembered it.
It holds so much memories good and bad.Sometimes I was the girl in the painting. The dog always reminded me of Lassie.lol
It was hung at the entrance of my home in the hallway. When you entered, it was the first thing you saw.
I remember as a little girl staring and getting lost in this painting for hours upon end.
Its one of the reasons I got the nickname "daydreamer." :)I must find a copy.

A Special Pleader
By Charles Burton Barber
Date painted: 1893 Oil on canvas, 97 x
127.6 cm Collection: Rochdale Arts & Heritage Service

This work was painted at a time when sentimental images of dogs, cats and other pets were fashionable due to the influence of Queen Victoria and the Royal family.
Barber became one of Queen Victoria's favourite painters and he was commissioned to paint several works for her.
The fashion for sentimental images of animals and children disappeared with the coming of the twentieth century and Barber passed into obscurity.
It was only in the 1980s that Victorian narrative art saw a tremendous revival. At that time 'A Special Pleader' was reproduced as a colour print and quickly became the most popular selling print of 1983–1984

I choose...
To override fear
With the determination to succeed
The ambition to live
With the knowledge to give

I choose to...
Love without fear
Listen through my positive ear
And remain confident,
With situation's that may adhere

I will be that girl
I've seen in my dreams
That creates every opportunity
And makes her dreams reality

I will not be bound,
By the fear of failure
Past disappointments
And worries of old age

I WILL Be motivated by my goal
Getting back up when I fall
And knowing that,
I AM designed to do great things!

This was actually dinner!
And it was gooooooooooooooood.;)

Hydra Therapy
Revitalises dry, damaged hair by restoring and maintaining hair's vital moisture balance.
Contains a moisturising blend of vitamins, Manuka Honey & Coconut Milk.
Ultra Hydrating emollients coat the hair shaft to provide incredible manageability, elasticity & extraordinary shine.Pamper yourself with soothing aromatherapy essences of sandalwood & lime.

This conditioner is my favourite of the two.
Especially because it contains honey and not just any honey...Manuka Honey!
Honey is one of my favourite ingredients to use when  DC'ing mainly because of its moisturising benefits.
It is designed to revitalise and restore the hair's natural moisture.
It gives such amazing slip and is great for cowashing, detangling was a breeze. I've noticed that conditioners with slip
have a more transparent consistency and somewhat of a milky formula.
Something to take note of if you love that silky feeling in your hair.
The Hydra Therapy Conditioner left my hair feeling soooo soft and shiny.
When I run my fingers through my hair its like running it under a tap.lol #SoSmooth
It has a very nice scent of honey and coconuts that lingers in your hair after  rinsing but not overpowering.

I honestly can't believe how soft my hair  is, I would definitely recommend this product to frequent cowashers and the naturalistas and those who have trouble with dry ends.
This is definitely a hair winter must have.
With the crazy weather(Snow in March?Spring where you at? Lol) we're having in London at the moment I'm glad I have this product in my stash.
I rate this conditioner ★★★★★

Volume Therapy
With an exotic blend of emollient rich Babassu, fortifying Kaolin & strengthening Quinoa Protein to restore body & shine to lifeless hair.Babassu transports restorative vitamins & minerals to nutrient deprived hair to mend, strengthen & restore body without weight.Experience the soothing aromatherapy essences of sage, cedarwood & geranium.

Because of the haircut I currently have (asymmetrical bob) I like to have extra body and this conditioner does that.
I went under the steamer with the Volume Therapy conditioner for about 45 mins to 1 hour.
As soon as I rinsed it out my hair it instantly felt thicker and stronger which I loved.
This conditioner has a much thicker, sticky like formula which I'm not too fond of, but nonetheless is still worked great.
Protein based conditioners are more opaque in appearance and thicker in consistency, just a quick tip for you conditionerholics/cowashaholics out there. :)
The sage fragrance is quite strong but just like the Hydra Therapy not overpowering.
I love that both conditioners gave my hair amazing shine.
Most volumizing conditioners tend to way the hair down, I love that this one doesn't.
My hair is weightless, bouncy and flowy.
I purchased both these products at my local poundland where they had the rest of the Purity Range.
You get 250ml of product for a £1...what a bargain! :D
You can find these products at your local BSS, salon or even supermarket.
Happy Hunting. :)

*I think this would be great for summer time braid outs when you want that extra body.;)*

Would I reccomend it? Yes
I rate this conditioner ★★★☆☆

Whipped some Shea Butter tonight, just thought I'd share. Whipped Shea Butter makes a much easier application to the skin than its usual form which can apply quite lumpy and be harder to blend. There are many tutorials on YouTube that show you how to whip it if you're not sure. I whipped 2 batches one with EVOO and the other with one of my favourite body butters for extra moisture. :)Do any of you whip your Shea Butter? What techniques do you use? Do you add any other oils/ moisturisers? Let me know below. :-)

Loving these 3 blushes right now combined with a bit of highlighter on the apples of my cheeks.
Gives me a really nice glow. :)
I especially love sienna when its really cold.lol

What are some of your favourite blushes?

I'm loving the Garbo Shoemint heels in white and I really need the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 for everyday use, especially blogging on the go.:)

Just a few of my favourite things right now:-

-Samsung Galaxy Note 2
-Beats By Dre Solo HD (WHITE)
-Keys To My New Place
-Astor Lipstick in Lilac Tulle 112
-Cover Girl Tru Shine in 425
-Collection 2000 Skyscraper Mascara

I'm starting with a whole heart again...

A reviving combination of citrus flavour and spice
The aroma of lemon and ginger is not only reviving, but ginger root has traditionally been used to aid digestion.
It's naturally caffeine free and has no added sugar. You can drink it at any time of day but its digestive qualities mean that many people choose it as an after dinner alternative to coffee.
At Twinings,we believe the secret of creating great taste lies in the ingredients you choose to work with.
That's why we've used all natural ingredients and nothing else in our green and white teas and all our infusions.
That means no artificial flavours-just the real thing.
We suggest...
Allow one bag per person to infuse for two to three minutes in freshly boiled water.
If you prefer a sweeter taste, add a little honey.
Have you tried this cold?Just allow the infusion to cool before drinking straight away-it's especially refreshing over ice with  a slice of fresh lemon.
Always best enjoyed without milk.
I'm sooo obsessed with this tea right now.
I love the aroma, taste everything.
Sometimes I add honey but most of the time I do without.
I love how this tea speeds up my metabolism.
The ginger overpowers the Lemon but not in a sickening way.
Its so yummy.
I definitely recommend everyone to try this tea especially for those cold winter/flu seasons.

Tools and Ingredients you will need:
-Sea Salt
-Olive Oil ( I used EVOO)
-Empty Container to store scrub
Sea salt body scrub benefits your skin by exfoliating and removing dead skin cells, leaving you with hydrated, smooth, more lustrous skin.
I chose to use EVOO in my mixture but there are various essential oils you can use.
Next time I might add some Lemon oil.

Very simple and easy to make, hope this was helpful to someone.
Stay tuned for more KSI HOW TO's :).

EVOO is said help heal and prevent dryness and works wonders on the skin.
It is filled with antioxidants and vitamins A and E that can repair and refresh the skin that may have been damaged due to sun exsposure, unhealthy eating and environmental pollutants.
Its definetly helped in combatting my dryness issue with my prepoo method.
I have very dry sensitive skin so I need moisture, moisture, moisture.
I like to apply EVOO 10 mins before I shower and let it soak in then wash it off,its like a prepoo treatment for the body.
This helps keep my skin feeling soft and moisturised all day.
It also helps prevents blemishes and scars and wounds when applied to the affected area.
I reccomend applying it around 2-3 times a day.
Another trick I like to do is mix half a bottle of lotion and EVOO together,it can be whatever lotion you want.
And Tada! You've just made a great moisturiser...this especially works well with those scented lotions that aern't very moisturising.

Haircare, Skincare, Nails and Food are just a few things I love to use EVOO for.
Olive oil is a great conditioner for hair, but there are many other things about this essential oil that make it a great go-to for hair care.
It’s also one of the top emollients that can penetrate the hair better than others, and its lightweight nature makes it great for moisturizing.
Olive oil also contains anti-inflammatory properties that promote scalp health and prevent dandruff. Extra virgin oil is also rich in high levels of mono-unsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E, an antioxidant important for hair growth.
Olive oil is not likely to cause an allergic reaction, making it ideal for sensitive skin and hair.

If your someone who suffers from split nails that break easily..or soft, thinning nail beds try this natural treatment.
It helps to prevent breakage and keep my nails hard and strong,I like to soak my nails in a bowl of warm (Doesn't have to be warm, its my preference) EVOO for about 5-10 mins.
Rinse with soap and warm water and moisturise with a good hand cream.
You should feel the difference in your nails instantly.
With regular use your nails should be hard and strong again.

Today's smoothie was delicious as usual.
My brother tried some for the first time and was surprised at how good it was.
He shouldn't be!...my smoothies are the bomb.com. :)

This past week I tried carrots in my smoothie, replaced the milk for plain yoghurt and added a variety of different fruits.
I also chopped, bagged and froze my fruit beforehand which made things alot easier.
I also made what I call a Spinach and Mushroom Omelette Egg McMuffin.
It was delicious...much better than McDonalds and healthier too. :)

Next week I'm gonna try some of my smoothies without milk/yoghurt/honey.
Just a little experiment I'm trying. :)

You can see my other smoothie recipes in previous posts, I regularly update my Blog,Instagram and Facebook page so follow for details.
Hope you're all having a Happy Sunday. :)

Happy Mother's Day to all the super mums out there.:)
Wishing you all a wonderful day.
Dedicating this lovely poem to you all...
God made a wonderful mother
A mother who never grows old
He made her smile of the sunshine
And He moulded her heart of pure gold
In her eyes He placed bright shining stars
In her cheeks fair roses you see
God made a wonderful mother
And He gave that dear mother to me

So...I just found out Will Smith visited my old High School.
Jel Bel over here.lol
When I attended 12 years ago the only famous people I recollect coming were The Queen,Ainsley Harriot and Bob Marley's Mum.

I think I would trade all of those to see Will Smith.lol
